| wow, what a week we have had, On Thursday the 20th November Aid and I wondered off to do an interview and live session with Frank McCarthy on BFBS radio, which was great, we performed three tracks, first our single rage, which sounded a bit funny in my headphones and we only realised after we had finished that there wasn't ant sound in the headphones, quickly rectified we moved onto the second track and then the third. All the songs were performed acoustically, so new for us, and we played a brand new song called "shadows", I managed to waffle for a whole 24 minutes and if you would like to check out the session you can do by vesting our MySpace page, there is a link to franks page there.......
This week also see's the deBretts on the new snitch DJ's mix tape, alongside, the kills, Radiohead and the late great; we have put a link up on our MySpace page if you fancy downloading the whole lot.
and last but not least there are just four days left until we play at the old blue last in Shoreditch for cool for cats records on Tuesday 25th November, we will be on stage ( and that means actually on stage) at 9pm, the gig is completely free and we will be performing a couple of new tracks. We will also have all our merchandise with us, yum yum....

| BEANOS FINALLY TO CLOSE
A message from David, the owner.
A severe and, I believe, permanent downturn in music retail has forced me to realise that I can no longer continue to finance this business as I have done for the last two years. Since, in fact, when we announced that we would have to close back in 2006.
Regular subscribers to our 'beamails' will know that we have had several exclusive special offers. Our last beamail explained that we were still experiencing desperately poor trade and that we were extending our 'Half Price Sale' to the general public during October.
Unfortunately this did not provide the boost in sales that we expected and I have had to take the decision to wind down BEANOS. After well over thirty years this is very difficult for me.
However, I will now have the time to devote myself totally to the design and launch of 'MARKET PLACE' our exciting way to revitalise this fine building.

Bio
We, the band Migrating Birds are a four piece with a group of friends that occasionally join us on stage & in the studio. The Core of the band is Eric Tschappler ( pron. Chappler ) on Drums, Gabe Flacks on Keys, Mike Picard on Bass and myself Chris Fox on Guitars and Vocals.
We met in Montreal late 2007 though music forums and friends. Each hailing from a different country ( England, France, Canada & the USA ) we all came into the band with different influences and ideas, but united in the pursuit of good music creation.
We have been likened to the Talking heads, Arcade fire, Radiohead, Midlake & the Eels but inspire to be our own category. We live to communicate with an audience in a live setting and have high hopes to tour North America and Europe.
Above all we want to remain true and create music that stirs the soul and feeds the heart.
