He's a classically trained musician now playing with rock band Amigdela, an international five piece outfit containing two ex- European Pool Champions - they went down a storm at the Raiders Xmas party!. His favourite band is Rage Against the Machine and fave solo artists are Frank Zappa and Jeff Buckley. |

Hellodollo! My name is Maria, originally from Abbey Wood and now residing in Wandsworth. My addictions are: Mister Jollies!, Rollies, Red Bull, anything with bundles of sugar in it. I watch: My Name is Earl, Family Guy and Adult Swim. I love: farting, inging? bitching, drunken rampages, breaking stuff (I'm quite good at it now.) Henry Mack & Magic Weavel, a good chinwag and Dan popsock. LOL. No, really. And of course...Music!! Everyone knows I'm big fan of Jimi H. I love Led Zep, the Eels, Mr Bungle, Queens of the Stone Age, Kings of Leon, Ramones and I do like a bit of ska, jazz & blues as well(not together...that would be sick) so my shows are a bit unpredictable sound-wise! Things I hate: Exclamation marks, soaps, day before pay-day, ridiculously small hairy dogs, the fact that people never listen to the little people - stop it! We are all powerful, you Oiks. Non-Gregg sausage rolls - why bother, and just about anything else that happens to annoy me at any given time. Aaaaah...(sinks back into old chair. Scratches ankle.) RAIDERS 1 Musical likes?: "Mostly indie, along the lines of British Sea Power, Belle & Sebastian, Arcade Fire and Sufjan Stevens. Recently I've been listening a lot to Simple Kid, Patrick Wolf and a couple of great jazz-punk bands, Polar Bear and Acoustic Ladyland. But I'm always looking to hear new things and widen my musical horizons!" Claire's show will be a mix of recent releases and older tracks. Henry, who was on Raiders 1 three years ago, can be heard rocking Raiders on the 9pm Zone along with other DJ's in the month every month! Henry is on the last two Thursdays of each month. |
